Our mission is to develop a host region policy for the Brussels-Capital Region centred around the hosting of all international organisations on Brussels territory while respecting the harmonious development of the Region and its inhabitants. In other words, we assure the role of political and administrative intermediary between the Brussels public authorities and the international institutions. Our activities revolve around two principal areas: an Institutional Liaison Desk (ILD) and an Expat Welcome Desk (EWD).
Our mission is to develop the regional marketing within the Brussels-Capital Region as well as to develop and to promote leisure, institutional and business tourism of the Region. This includes the promotion of the European quarter, of Brussels as capital of Europe but also specific actions towards the Brussels expat communities and to all Brussels citizens to inform them about the European Union (Europe Direct Brussels).
